Why, honey?

I was really suprised about the things that the mothers claimed about her son. I could not believe that someone could write something like that about their own child. Her evidences directed me to think that he was some sort of a criminal. Especially the fact that he lied all the time and he could do that with clear eyes. In addition he bought a shotgun and a knife, that is really creepy. And the thing that he lied about his days pay was weird. And the bloody shirt? What was that all about? Mother should have called the police for Chirst sake! Considering to these things mothers evidences were really convincing.

Mother gives information about her son in very negative way. She does not tell much good things about her son. She describes his darkest feelings and doings and ignores all the good things. Well, she does tell that he loved their cat, but many psychopaths love cats or thats what I have learned from all the movies I have seen.

Final paragraph of the narrator refers to that she’s scared and wants answers about her sons situation. It is also a cry for help. She really needs answers. She is really scared and is desperate of answers. She could also be mentally ill and is imagining all the things she has written.

I am questioning the narrators reliablity. This could be true because she is his mother and why would she tell so horrible lies about her son. But what if this is only cry out for attention? What if she is just exaggerateing all these things? I mean, come on! The text she has written refers that her son could be psyhcopath which have never ever got caught and he ran as covernor and got elected. If he had done some horrible stuff when he was young, someone would have found out before he got elected. So yes, I am questoining narrators reliability. She is just sick of attention, she craves it.

The Baytown Outlaws

The Baytown Outlaws

The Baytown Outlaws (2012) is a film directed by Barry Battles and written by Battles and Griffin Hood. The movie tells about three rednecks called Lincoln Oodie (Daniel Cudmore), McQueen Oodie (Travis Fimmel) and Brick Oodie (Clayne Crawford). They agree to save young mentally handicapped kid called, Rob (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) from his godmother Celestes (Eva Longoria) ex-husband Carlos. Celeste pays them 25 000 $ for this job.
After they’ve saved the boy they come across very different opponents who work for Carlos and try to kill them and get Rob back to Carlos. Also one ATF agent tries to catch Oodie brothers.

The Movies plot was very interesting and suprising. Oodie brothers are un-educated and pretty dumb. They’ve born and raised in southern states and they’re true rednecks and it gave suprisingly good nuance for the plot. Also Oodies relationship to Sherriff Henry Millard (Andre Braugher) reveals to be pretty shocking as the movie goes on. Turns in movie were not boring and they kept interest on all along the movie.

Characters fitted in the plot very well. They were desingned quiet good and adapting the plot. Especially Lincoln Oodie is very interesting character because he is very strong and big. But the thing that makes him special is that he can’t speak. On the other hand McQueen character is stereotype of rednecks because the way he talks and acts. Brick is the smartest one. He is the ”brains” of the brothers and he desings all the gigs.

Camerawork is really good and it creates awesome athmosphere for the plot. Especially the fights, shootings and bloodsheds were quiet dashing.

The movie is categorized as action and comedy, but I think that it contained also drama. Especially Robs situation and how the movie ended was touching and dramatic.

I recommend this movie to all who like action films with the nuance of comedy and drama. Also if you’re into guns, killing and sweet rides this movie is must-see film.
