Malcolm was married with Anna and they had good relationship in the beginning of the movie, but then Malcolm started to try to solve one little boy’s problems obsessively, and he put his job ahead of Anna. That’s why their relationship suffered and they lost touch on each other. Eventually Anna didn’t talk to Malcolm anymore and she behaved like she didn’t notice Malcolm at all. Above all, it seemed like Anna would have another man.The boy who Malcolm tried to help was nine-year-old Cole. Cole was the second main character of the movie and in fact, the movie was mostly filmed from Cole’s point of view. Due to his strange behavior and introvert personality, he didn’t have very much friends. Because of Malcolm felt that if he helped Cole, he would be able to help another boy who he wasn’t able to help in past.
However, other people couldn’t understand Cole’s behavior because they weren’t able to see Cole’s world such like when it was. Namely Cole’s world was full of fear and anguish which conveyed very well. Cole’s mother tried to desperately find out what could be wrong with his son. Watchers are able to feel her anxiety when she realizes that she is unable to help her son and she can only watch Cole being afraid.
”The Sixth sense” isn’t horror movie but there are some scary scenes in the movie. First Cole didn’t believe that Malcolm could help him, but when he got to know Malcolm better, Cole decided to tell his secret. Also Malcolm didn’t believe Cole’s secret at first but he found some evidences later. Eventually Malcolm believed Cole’s secret and gave an good advice to Cole which eased his life. In the end’ll show up an unexpected turn what I weren’t able to wait or think. That was a big plus to the movie.
In the end of the movie I felt stupid because denouement was possible to be guessed but I didn’t even think about it. It would be interesting to watch the movie again and observe what things give clues to the final solution. I think the movie was also very interesting and it uncovers itself little by little. There was also a huge amount of tension in the movie. I thinks the characters were created and actualized well, because different feelings were shown very well. The movie made me wonder what if that what Cole saw, would really exist.
