The Lion King

The Lion King tells a story about lions living in the jungle. But it´s not as boring as it sounds. It tells about love. Love between two lions, between mother and son and above all, endless love between father and son.

The movie released in 1994. It is written by Irene Mecchi, Jonathan Roberts and LInda Woolvwerton. It is an animated musical adventure movie.

The Lion KIng is a famous Disney movie and I guess nearly everybody have seen it. I hadn´t seen it before last week I watched it. I wanted to take back the lost part of my childhood. It suprised me really positive. I didn´t think there could be anything special in that movie but my opinion has changed. Now I understand all that sensation it has made. It teaches about love and life philosophy. Story gives new ways to think and relate to things that happens. It gives an emotional experience. Sadness, happiness and love.

The story tells about a little lion called Simba whose father Mufasa is a big hero for that little lion. Mufasa always saves Simba every time Simba is in danger. But one day when there is no Mufasa anymore, when he accidentally dies Simba sees no reason to live in that place anymore and runs away. While his adventure he meets two guys called Timon and Pumba and realises big things about life and about his responsibilities.

There are two characters witch are absolutely my favourites: Timon and Pumba. They are just so sympathetic and I love their life philosophy. It´s something that everyone should assimilate. Their motto is ”Hakuna matata” witch means ”no worries”.  I like the way they just chill out and take it all easy.

Althought the movie is an animation and it is mainly made for children I think it´s not bad at all to watch it also older. There are things that people may not understand until they are more grown up. The best parts are those lovely well-known songs. I had heard nearly all of them before but I didn´t know that some of them are from that movie. The cutiest one is absolutely the song Can You Feel The Love and the funniest Hakuna Matata.

I think the language was easy to understand (one reason is of course that it´s made for little children). And it was also really easy to follow of course. I would recommend the movie for everyone, for whole family to watch together.

The purpose of the movie was maybe to do something witch evokes lot of emotions and still isn´t the hardiest thing to watch. And the main thing to do that all with a way children could watch.

The atmosphere was mainly really warm. And it evoked warm feelings. Unless the parts when someone died or something bad happend. But like in every Disney movie there was still happy ending and everybody were happy and so on. That´s the way every story should end. I think it also teaches important things, like people can´t hide from their responsibilities forever and the point that sometimes it is better just take it easy and say ”Hakuna matata”.
